Our Story
Built for People. Grown with Purpose
Kozi Rwanda was born out of a simple but powerful idea: everyone deserves access to decent, dignified work. In 2021, we started as a small initiative to help families find trusted housemaids. But we quickly realized we were solving a much deeper issue, millions of skilled and capable Rwandans lacked visibility, support, and voice. Today, Kozi Rwanda is a growing digital employment platform connecting households, companies, and organizations with reliable workers from support staff to skilled professionals while fighting for job dignity, legal protection, and equal opportunity for all.
2022 – The Beginning
- Started as a WhatsApp-based connection service for housemaids.
- Placed 15+ workers in Kigali homes.
- Learned firsthand the trust gap between workers and employers.
2023 – Building the Foundation
- Launched our first digital platform for job listings.
- Partnered with 3 local cleaning companies and Training Center.
- Onboarded over 120 support workers.
2025 – Platform with Purpose
-Fully launched Kozi mobile app.
- Added employer dashboards, instant matching, and digital contract.
- Recognized as one of Rwanda’s social impact-driven tech platforms.

Dignity & Protection for All
We treat every worker with respect and ensure they’re not just placed, but protected. Each Kozi worker is legally contracted under us, with fair terms, and is regularly checked in on to ensure they’re treated with humanity and care.
Accountability Without Middlemen
Kozi is not a commission-based or middleman service. When you hire through us, the worker is officially under our care. We are fully responsible for follow-up, discipline, and replacement — at no extra cost — if a worker is not performing as expected.
Transparency & Standardized Payments
All Kozi salaries are clearly defined. No hidden charges, no surprises. Our workers are paid a standardized and fair salary, and clients know exactly what they’re paying for. That’s our promise.
